Apple  

 

 

 

The apple is the fruit of the apple tree.

 

It can have a sweet or tangy taste depending on the variety and is eaten as well as a snack or a healthy dessert.

 

  • Nutritional value of a medium apple (140g)

·          0.3 g of protein

·          19 g of carbohydrates

·          0.2 g of fat

·          2.5 to 3 g of dietary fiber

·          Excellent in mash, juice, compote, etc.

·          Decreased risk of cancer

  • Some recipe ideas with apple:

·          In salad

·          In compote

·          In fruit salads

·          In juice

·          Mashed

·          In pies, cakes, muffins, cookies, etc. 

·          Grated

·          Poached

·          Baked (with brown sugar for the caramelized)

·          As a delicacy (the famous apple covered in caramel)

 

 

This fruit is the most consumed fruit in the world.

There are a variety of recipes with it. Here are some of my favorite recipes.  

 

 

Recipe number  1  : Baked apple

Calories  : 120 kcal

Ingredients  : for 1 person

 

  • A big apple

  • 1 small apple

  • Vanilla extract

  • Cinnamon powder

  • Optional  : sweetener  : Liquid Hermesetas

 

 

Preperation  :

 

  • Cut the cap off the big apple and hollow it out (the filling will be put inside).

  • For the interior  : put at the bottom of the vanilla and put in the oven at 180 degrees for 35 minutes.

  • Prepare while waiting  the other apple  : peel and cut into 4 then thin slices.

  • Brown in a pan until they melt and are golden. Add a little vanilla and liquid hermesetas

  • Take the apple out of the oven when it is soft  , and put the garnish.

  • Sprinkle with cinnamon

  • Easy and light recipe .. and Bon appétit  ! :)

 

 

Recipe number 2  : Pancake light

 

Ingredients  : for 2 people

 

  • 2 eggs

  • 60 g flour

  • 150 ml of skimmed milk

  • 3 tablespoons of low fat 3% cream

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • Vanilla pod  : take the seeds using the tip of a knife

  • Optional  : to garnish your pancakes 200 g of apple-rhubarb compote with no added sugar

 

Preperation  :

 

  • Pour the flour into a bowl, add a pinch of salt and make a well.

  • Crack the eggs into the well and mix well.

  • Add the cream. Pour in the milk slowly and using the mixer, obtain a smooth and slightly thick dough.

  • Cover and let stand 1 hour 

  • By leaving to cook over medium heat, make your pancakes in a non-stick pan 

  • You can garnish with the compote it is a delight.

Recipe number 3  : Sweet and salty apple

 

Ingredients  :

 

  • 1 apple

  • 1 portion of fresh cheese (it's a delight if you take fresh cheese with garlic and herbs )

  • 1 teaspoon of balsamic vinagre

  • 1 teaspoon of walnut oil

  • ½ garlic clove

  • ½ spoons  caper coffee

  • Pepper

 

      Preparation  :

 

  • Peel the apple  : cut it in 4 and brown it over low heat in a non-stick pan to brown them.

  • Place the apple quarters on your plate  : if you want to make a beautiful decoration you can spread them out like a sun

  • Place the cream cheese on top

  • And season with your favorite sauce  :

  • Sauce recipe idea  : beat the balsamic vinegar with the walnut oil, vinegar  , chopped garlic, capers and pepper.
